A heart attack makes Joymohan (Anupam Kher), a professor in Kolkata, take stock of his life and prompts him to move to Mumbai to spend time with his son Indra (Rajit Kapoor) and his family. Indra and his grand daughter Gargi (Avika Gor) are delighted to have him with them but his relationship with his daughter-in-law Rita (Divya Dutta) is strained.

A morning walk and a blast from the past brings some unexpected suprises into his life.

He meets Neelima (Sharmila Tagore), an old student and friend who is now a yoga instructor living with her daughter Anjali (Nargis). Neelima and Anjali’s boyfriend Ajay (Shyan Munshi) are supportive about Anjali’s decision to move to the USA for her studies.

The two families who live diverse lives are brought together by a truth that changes their lives in this warm and touching tale.

Sikandar(2009) Story

Sikandar Raza (Parzan Dastur) is a fourteen year old schoolboy in Kashmir, orphaned when his parents are brutally killed by terrorists. He lives with his aunt and uncle in a small town in Kashmir. Keeping his aunt and uncle happy and playing football rules his world.

Until one day, on his way home from a school football match, he finds a gun lying on the path. Despite admonishments by his newly made school friend, Nasreen (Ayesha Kapoor), Sikandar picks up the gun unleashing the darker side in him.

The quiet yet strong Nasreen becomes Sikandar's conscience keeper. She tries to dissuade him from giving in to the lure of the gun. However, all is not what it seems. Sikandar gets embroiled further and further in situations beyond his control and people get killed.
The other characters who step into this murky picture are Lt. Colonel Rao, Mukhtar Mattoo and Zahgeer Quadir.

Lt. Colonel Rao (R.Madhavan) is the army commander of the area. He uses force to bring peace, while on the other. He also believes in giving people second chances. His years in Kashmir have given him the ability to see beyond the obvious as he steers through the under-currents, of the political and religious kind.

Mukhtaar Mattoo (Sanjay Suri) is a reformed militant leader and is soothing balm to many a volatile situation. He constantly attempts to broker peace between the various power centers; namely the militants, the army and the religious leaders. But sometimes his actions are of a nebulous nature.

Zahgeer Quadir (Arunoday Singh) is a militant leader who is feared and respected Area Commander of the Kashmir Azaadi (Freedom) Force. Zahgeer is battle hardened, yet the sadness of a lost childhood weighs heavily on him. His position is being undermined by the peace efforts of the Kashmir Peace Front. Added to that, his supporters are dwindling in numbers.

At first glance the events that unfold seem disconnected. But as layer upon layer unravels, it becomes clear that Sikandar is the innocent victim in a game being played out between the militants, the army, the peace bartering politicians and the religious heads of the little Kashmiri town.

The pieces of the puzzle come together at the very end, leading to a shocking revelation.

Kaminey Story

Everything is about to change for Charlie and Guddu. In one day. A day of reckoning. An unusual day, just right for the unusual events that unfold in its course.

Guddu and Charlie are brothers, born and raised in Dharavi, the world's largest slum dwelling in the heart of the megalopolis, Mumbai. They also happen to be identical twins, in early twenties, hoping to leave the squalor behind and move into a life of prosperity and dignity. But the similarity ends here.

Guddu (Shahid Kapoor) works as a trainee in a small NGO firm in the city. He hopes to climb up to the top of the corporate ladder. He wants to be a bona fide member of the burgeoning Indian middle class. His career has only just begun though and the road to bourgeoisie is both long and arduous. Yet Guddu is at it. He is honest, diligent and careful.

Charlie (Shahid Kapoor) makes a living hedging bets at the race course. He moves around the plush hordes of the rich and famous at the races. For him this is just a way to make quick money and he dreams of becoming a legitimate bookie one day. Charlie is street smart, wily and brave and lives only for himself.

The brothers don't like each other. They believe they have nothing in common, not even their speech defect. While Guddu stammers, especially when he is nervous, Charlie has a lisp. They have built their lives so that their paths don't ever cross. They believe it's only a question of time before they are out of each other's sight forever.

Charlie is having a bad day at the office. He has practically bet everything he possesses on a coveted derby race. But at the last minute, he is double crossed as the race is fixed in their opponent's favour. He hunts down the jockey and plans to get even when the rival goons burst in. In the ensuing melee, Charlie and his friends take off with a getaway car, not knowing that the car belongs to a ruthless pair of cops, Lobo and Lele, who run drugs for the beach lord, Tashi. Soon enough, Charlie discovers a stash of coke in the boot of the car. All hell now breaks loose as the cops and the drug mafia are on his case. Charlie has to survive by his wits alone.

Guddu is performing a street theatre act when his newfound girlfriend, Sweety Bhope (Priyanka Chopra) appears on the scene, distraught and announces that she is pregnant. Guddu is shocked at first but realizes quickly that there is no real problem. They can get married right away!

But they can't. There is a real problem. Sweety reveals her secret. Her brother is Sunil 'chopper' Bhope (Amol Gupte), a gangster with political ambitions and a ridiculously dangerous man. And he already knows. Sweety informs Guddu that as they speak, her brother's men are out for his blood.

The story unfolds as the day progresses. Intercut between the parallel stories of the brothers as they run to protect themselves, their dreams and their love. Until a point where it converges and the brothers meet to realize that they only have each other.

It is only through trust in each other that they can get out of the mess that they haven't created. They uncover a deadly political-police-underworld nexus. They discover virtues within themselves they thought didn't exist. And most important of all, they find each other.

For Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor), his family comes first and matters the most. And his life-partner, Prachi (Prachi Desai) also comes with his family's approval. But is arranged marriage the right? Is it right to prioritize the family first even after marriage? Does Prachi have to prove herself as a worthy daughter-in-law to be an ideal wife? These and some more questions form their married life.

Jeet (Govinda) is a divorce lawyer extraordinaire and doesn't believe in the institution of marriage. He can't be monogamous and is sometimes responsible for his clients' divorce and ends up fighting their cases too. But is 'no marriage' the right approach? Will Jeet ever find someone? Will his views on marriage ever change?

How they manage to cope up with their life after marriage, and whether or not they succeed in their respective endeavors forms the crux of the plot of Life Partner.

Teree Sang is copied from the Korean movie 'Jenni, Juno' and a host of other Hindi movies. Maahi (Sheena Shahabadi), a 15 year old rich, bubbly girl becomes friends with Kabir (Ruslaan Mumtaz), a 17 year old teenager from a lower middle class family. On a camping trip on New Year's Eve, the drunken young couple gets into a physical relationship and Maahi becomes pregnant. Maahi decides to keep her child and the rest of the story is how they go about it.

The movie shows 15 and 17 year olds drinking and parents not even bothering if kids don't show up at night. Satish Kaushik and Sushmita Mukherjee, who play Kabir’s parents, don't even care if their son has not shown up at home for two days and don't even try to search for their kids after they elope. The kids are so casual even after having a physical relationship and Sheena emotionally blackmails her mother (Neena Gupta) to let her elope. Kabir and Sheena do menial jobs but live in a nice mansion that is conveniently available for them. They have toys and everything else and have no problems wearing the nicest clothes.

He is interested in taking up literature but his father wants him to be an engineer. All the friends are worried about the children who are committing suicide due to such reasons and decide to take a stand against this.

With the help of a lawyer named Sanjay (Mithun Chakraborthy) they speak up against the parents and the government. This, of course, does not go down well with either the parents or the government. Anoop Soni represents the parents at court and the Government selects Nandita Prakash (Shilpa Shukla) as their lawyer. The Chief Justice of India, Justice Bharat Kumar (Mukesh Khanna), is appointed as the head of the bench.

The whole nation supports the children in this movement. Now it's the law who has to decide.

What happens next? Are the students right? What will be the judgment? Whom do you support?

Agyaat is a thriller and revolves around the realm of fear.

A film unit goes for a shoot deep into a forest. They settle at a place with bare minimal facilities run by a strange and quirky man called Setu.

The hero of the film Sharman is a completely self obsessed man with no other concern except for his muscles and the leading lady. The leading lady Aasha (Nisha Kothari) bears with him because of his star status. Director JJ (Harvey Rosemeyer) thinks of himself as India’s answer to Steven Spielberg and producer Moorty (Ishrat Ali) thinks the director is screwing up the film and stopping him from becoming the next Yash Chopra. Laxman is a completely subservient spot boy but with a hidden monstrous ego. Cinematographer Shakky is very philosophical in nature and action director Rakka (Ravi Khale) is a frustrated man who hates the leading actor, Sharman. Script supervisor Sameera is a simpleton with ideals and a secret crush on the protagonist Sujal (Nitin Kumar Reddy) who is an assistant director, who in turn has a huge crush on Aasha.

It all begins when the camera malfunctions. They have to wait for two days for the replacements to arrive, with no form of entertainment or communication. So when Setu suggests a camping trip into the forest, they jump at the opportunity. As Setu drives them through the jungle around undergrowth in a relic Jonga, they begin to wonder how Setu can remember the way back as the jungle looks the same all around.

As they settle near a pond for the night and sit around a bonfire Setu hears a strange sound. He goes to investigate and never returns. After a desperate search they discover his dead body. Panic sets in among the unit members and they jump into the Jonga but they are unfamiliar with the terrain and their hastiness result in an accident. The axle breaks.

Now completely lost and trapped in the jungle as Setu, the only guy who knows the way out is dead, they don’t know which way to go to get out of the forest. Yet another unit member gets brutally killed, making them realize that whatever it is that has killed Setu is out to get them all.

From then on it is a desperate struggle to survive against that unknown entity. And as their numbers dwindle, their suppressed passions come forth as they realize that it is not only their lives they are fighting for, but also for their love.
